Privacy
Last updated: 27 October 2026 (camera and voiceover recording added to the Video Editor)
GoVibe Mix is a set of tools that run in your browser. We have no accounts, no database and no analytics, and your audio and video files are never uploaded to us.
Your files
Audio, video and music you open in the editors, the DJ mixer or the video editor are processed on your own device. They are not sent to this site. The video editor can record your screen, but only after you press Record screen and choose what to share in your browser. The recording stays on your device.
Microphone
The Voice recorder, the Looper, the Studio and the Video Editor ask your browser for permission to use the microphone, and the Video Editor also asks for the camera when you press Record camera. Each asks only when you press the button to allow it. What you record is kept in memory on your device and is never sent to us. You can revoke the permissions any time in your browser's site settings. They are limited to this site, and the site does not use the microphone or camera anywhere else.
What is stored in your browser
- Your lesson progress and saved settings.
- Your DJ library, if you add tracks or load them into a deck with "Remember tracks" ticked: the audio files and their BPM, key, beat grid and cue points are kept in this browser's storage (IndexedDB). Use the ✕ button in the Library to remove a track, or clear the site's data in your browser. MIDI mappings and saved beats are also kept here.
- Your set history: tracks you play for 20 seconds or more are logged (title, BPM, key, time) in this browser's localStorage, up to 1000 entries. Clear it from the History tab. Library backups you export are files saved to your own device; we never receive them.
- Your Studio projects: the tracks, notes and audio files of each project you save in the Multitrack Studio are kept in this browser's storage (IndexedDB), with the last project reopened automatically. Use the backup ZIP in the Studio to move or keep them.
- A temporary copy of a recording or beat, used to pass it to the Audio Editor. It is deleted once the editor has loaded it.
- Cached copies of the site's own files, so the site can open offline.
You can clear all of this from your browser's site settings. This site does not set cookies of its own.
When data leaves your device
- Hosting: the site is served by Cloudflare, which processes standard web-server data such as IP addresses and the pages requested, under its own privacy policy.
Children
The site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information.
