BPM and key finder
Drop your tracks to find their tempo and musical key (with the Camelot code DJs use). Everything runs in your browser, so nothing is uploaded.

Tap tempo
Tap the button on the beat of a song you hear. After a few taps you get the BPM. Stop for more than two seconds to start again.
How accurate is it?
Tempo is usually right within a fraction of a BPM on clear, steady music. It can be off by half or double on slow or sparse tracks, so a reading of 64 may really be 128. Tracks with live drummers or tempo changes are harder. Key detection is less certain than tempo and works best on music with clear harmony. Treat both as a good first guess and check by ear.
What is the Camelot code? It is a simple name for each key, from 1A to 12B, that shows which tracks mix well together. Read the guide. To use the results, load the tracks in the DJ Console.
